Our 2nd production Daphne was a based upon greek-roman nymph princess - DAPHNE, who was chased by Lord Apollo, despite being the lord, he forced upon his wishes and desires on Daphne. The story was structured several years back but still has relevance, as we have moved a lot in terms of swanky buildings, amazing infrastructure, advanced lifestyle but our mindset still needs to take that leap.
Centuries ago when Daphne denied lord Apollo's wishes, she was transformed into a tree by her father as he believed that it was the best way of saving her chastity, being a God himself, he could not rage a war against another God. Even though she was a victim, she was made to suffer as she had to face metamorphosis. In this age too, if a woman fails to agree to the wishes and fantasies of a powerful male, she ends up going through a tough struggle.
